What are the 10 naming styles?
AI-powered: Brandable, Evocative, Short Phrase, Compound Words, Alternate Spelling, Non-English, and Real Words. Instant/local: Phonetic, Prefix-Suffix, and Rhyming. Each style produces a different creative direction for your name.
How is the name score calculated?
The score (0-100) rates how brandable, memorable, and pronounceable a name is. It factors in length (4-10 chars is ideal), vowel-consonant ratio, phonetic flow, and keyword relevance. Names scoring 90+ are premium and available to Pro subscribers.
Can I check my own name ideas?
Yes. Use the "Check Names" tab in the generator. Enter your names (one per line), select the TLDs you want to check, and hit Check Availability. Names with a dot (e.g., mybrand.com) check that specific TLD only.

How accurate is the domain availability check?
Very accurate for major TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .app, .dev) — we use zone file data that updates every 24 hours. For other TLDs (.ai, .io, .co), we use real-time RDAP/DNS lookups. Availability can change between checking and registering, so register quickly if you find a name you want.

Who owns the names Namilio generates?
Generated names are unprotected suggestions — no one owns them until they are registered through trademark offices, domain registrars, or business entity filings. You are free to use any name you generate.
Can two users get the same name suggestion?
Yes. AI generation is non-deterministic, but similar keywords may produce similar results for different users. This is why trademark and domain checking before committing is essential.
